Call to Follow International

About us

A calling to take the Gospel to the whole world.

The Great Commission Jesus gave more than 2,000 years ago remains unfinished.

Our story

A life transformed. A mission begun.

Founder Niki Manninen came to faith in 2011 after nearly a decade caught in drug addiction and crime. In one of his darkest moments, people prayed for him. He experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit, turned to Jesus, and was delivered from addiction.

God placed a clear call on his heart: take the Gospel to all nations. Niki devoted the next eleven years to Youth With A Mission, helping establish and lead YWAM Helsinki with his wife Amy and leading Discipleship Training Schools and outreaches around the world.

In 2021, he graduated from Christ for All Nations Evangelism Bootcamp in Orlando. Through campaigns, village outreach, church ministry, and training, tens of thousands have made decisions to follow Jesus and believers have been equipped to share the Gospel.

After more than a decade serving with different organizations, God led Niki to establish Call to Follow International. Niki and Amy live in Helsinki, serving from Finland among the nations.

Vision

Reaching the lost, igniting the Church, and equipping the Body of Christ for the harvest.

What we believe

Rooted in Scripture.

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Ps. 90:2; Matt. 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ — His virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous works, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension, and future return in power and glory.

John 1:1–3; Matthew 1:22–23; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He convicts, dwells in believers, opens Scripture, leads into truth, transforms lives, and gives spiritual gifts.

John 14:16–17; John 16:7–13; Romans 8:14–16; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The world changes, but God's Word remains eternal.

Psalm 119:89; Matthew 24:35; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21

Salvation

Salvation is God's gift, received through repentance and faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Through Him we become new creations and receive eternal life.

John 3:3–7; Acts 2:38; Romans 3:23–25; Ephesians 2:8–9

Baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion as an act of obedience and a public declaration of faith in Christ.

Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38, 41; Romans 6:3–5

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe this promise is for every believer, empowering the Church to be bold witnesses and fulfill the Great Commission.

Joel 2:28–29; Luke 11:13; Acts 1:4–5, 8; Acts 2:1–4

Healing

God is merciful and compassionate. We pray for the sick and believe there is power in the name of Jesus.

Isaiah 53:5; Acts 3:16; James 5:14–15

Return of Christ

We believe in the glorious return of Jesus Christ. Until that day, we are commissioned to preach the Gospel and make disciples of all nations.

Matthew 24:30–31; Acts 1:10–11; Revelation 22:12

Eternity

We believe all people will be resurrected: those who trust Jesus receive eternal life with God, while those who reject Him face eternal separation from God.

Matthew 25:46; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:11–15

Family

We believe in God's design for marriage as the covenant union between one man and one woman, and encourage families to grow together in faith and love.

Matthew 19:5; Ephesians 5:31–33; Ephesians 6:1–4
